Members without Power as Crews Worked to Locate Isolated Issue

Last night, March 28, 2021, a total of 1,520 Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) members were without power when an isolated electrical short occurred in the underground system in Bullhead City near the Desert Foothills area.

Bird Causes Power Outage

Power Outage caused by bird making contact with our electrical equipment resulting in 4,200 members without power for 41 minutes.

Hit and Run Causes Power Outage

27 members lost power due to a car crash into a transformer. Drive fled scene and has yet to be held responsible.
