MOHAVE ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INCORPORATED, an Arizona not-for-profit electric distribution corporation (the “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”).

This Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website https://www.mohaveelectric.com/ and all subdomains thereof (collectively, our “Website”) or use or access our mobile applications (including SmartHub) (collectively, our “App”) as well as our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This Policy applies to information we collect:

  • On our Website;
  • In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and our Website or App;
  • Through our App, which provides dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and our services; and/or

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13

We are committed to protecting the privacy needs of children and encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities. We adhere to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and will not knowingly collect the Personal Information from any child under the age of 13. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions.
  • Targeted Advertising. If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers’ target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by checking the relevant box located on the form on which we collect your data. ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR INFORMATION

If you delete your User Contributions from our Website or App, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other users of our Website or App. Proper access and use of information provided on our Website or App, including User Contributions, is governed by our Terms of Use.

YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
