Mohave Electric Announces New Public Affairs & Regulatory Compliance Manager
BULLHEAD CITY, AZ – Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) welcomed Allison Ellingson to join the utility as Manager of Public Affairs & Regulatory Compliance, effective February 1, 2021.
Ellingson brings extensive experience with more than 15 years in public relations, community outreach, government relations, legislation, and energy policy from both private and public sectors. For the past eight years, Ellingson has worked for OPR Communications headquartered in Riverside, California, most recently as Director of Public Affairs overseeing a dozen high-profile clients. She also previously served as a Field Representative for former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and worked for the Western Riverside Council of Governments (WRCOG).
Ellingson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from University of California, Riverside and served on various boards and commissions at the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, Big Brothers Big Sisters IE, and Friends of California Citrus Park.

Ellingson resides locally in Golden Shores and also has family in Bullhead City, Mohave Valley, and Kingman. She is a lifetime member of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6306 Auxiliary.
