Agricultural Vehicle Hauling Palm Tree Causes Outage

Bullhead City, AZ – On Tuesday, December 14, at 10:30 a.m., 501 Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) members in Golden Shores experienced an outage due to an agricultural vehicle hauling a cut palm tree. The outage occurred when the palm tree came into contact with MEC lines. Crews responded to repair the line, restoring power to all members at 12:32 p.m. The outage affected members in the southwestern territory of Golden Shores, Arizona.
