AEPCO generates power through a variety of energy sources and provides the power to MEC who transforms the energy to the appropriate voltage and then distributes the power directly to your home or business. Together, AEPCO and MEC need new power generation resources such as solar with battery storage and flexible, high efficiency natural gas units to continue providing reliable, affordable electricity to you.
